Joshua Tree Nights

Last week I visited Joshua Tree National Park overnight to photograph the Milky Way and the comet Neowise. Though the days were in the high 90s, it was comfortable in the evening, getting as low as 70° overnight. The sky was completely clear.

Sierra Serenity

In June I went to the eastern Sierra with a few friends. For part of our time we did an overnight trip to a high basin in the John Muir Wilderness. While we were there, cold front moved through with strong winds and a slight flurry of snow.
