Happy New Year and thank you for viewing my photos!
Last week we had another snow storm in the mountains around San Diego. I started the day heading to Lake Henshaw, hoping to find some compositions in a morning mist. I discovered a majestic old oak with one limb bowed low to the ground and others that extended upwards.

Later we headed to Boucher Hill on Palomar Mountain in the fresh snow. We were almost the first to reach the fire lookout. A park ranger passed us as we were taking photos and left his footprints in the snow.

On the way home, we stopped along the road to capture some late autumn color in sycamore trees.
